PM's JAL MARG VIKASH Project Drawing Global attention

Jal Marg Vikash project will help to Save Logistics cost  Rs 24 Lakh crore  by 2024 ,when GDP will 350 Lakh cr ($5 trillion)

This project will help india to reduce logistics cost  to  6- 7%  by 2024  from current level 14- 15%  of GDP.India could save approx Rs24 trillion per annum.

●India Rank 44 in World Bank logistics index -2018,india's logistics cost higher 14% than global average 6%.

●Germany Rank -1,Japan -5,UK -9, USA -14,France-16 and China -26.

●waterways transport in Germany 20%, china 10%,USA 9%,European countries 8%, and india less than one percent,only 0.5%.

Logistics sector plays a vital role in economic growth. We know ✔#Freight Transprotation in india  #67% by Road🚛, 28% by Railways🚆,4.5% by air ✈️and costal shipping 🛳️and ⬇️0.5%  by  waterways🚤. And ✔ Transprotation  Cost -Rs 2.70 per tonnes per  km through Road, Rs 1.5 per km through Railways & 25 Paisa through Inland Waterways.

we know india's logistics costs higher than global average....Inefficiencies in the logistics chain india Losses approx Rs 12 lakh crore per year.

Logistics costs in India are approximately $380 billion per annum(Rs 26 Lakh cr),which account for 14% of GDP. This is higher than the global average of 6 % ,as the Indian logistics sector is largely unorganised and inefficient compared with its global counterparts.

waterways transport playing a very Crucial role in developed countries.waterways transport in ,Germany 23%,china 12%,USA 10%,European countries 9% and india only 0.5%.....though India is a land of rivers.... India has nearly 17000 km of navigable waterway.

Present govt has taken ✔Jal Marg Vikash project ,india's first multi-model terminal on inland waterways, aims at developing the stretch of the river between varanasi and Haldia for navigation of large vessels weight up to 1500-2000 tonnes(equivalent to 115  two axle truck , capacity 18 tonnes).

This project will contribute in bringing down the logistics cost in the country and will provide an alternative mode of transport which will be environment friendly and cost  effective.

✔This project will help india to reduce logistics cost  5-6% from 14% by 2024.India could save Rs 24 trillion per annum by 2024.

Gujarat Growth Model-Gujarat per capita income could reach $ 20000 by 2030.

✔Gujarat Growth Model-Gujarat per capita income could reach $ 20000 by 2030.

✔Gujarat Growth Model-Gujarat has received total  $1.5 trillion investment proposals 2003-2020.

Gujarat Growth Model and industrial policy.

We know Gujarat was most backward state,in year 2000-2001,Gujarat  per capita income was just USD 175 ,below the national average USD 240.

Now Gujarat per capita income USD 3000 ,higher than the national average USD 2000.Gujarat and development have become synonymous over the last 2 decades.

Gujarat new industrial policy

We know Vibrant Gujarat  Summits were initiated by Narendra Modi in 2003 when he was chief minister to attract investment to the state. Now Gujarat become a preferred investment destination within india....If all proposed investments 2003-20 were to be combined, the state has witnessed an investment commitment of over $1.5 trillion or Rs 100 lakh cr. The state has received multi billion dollar investment proposals from-Car industry, Textile, Steel, chemical, cement, tiles, fertiliser, petrochemical, vegetable oil,gems-jewelry, infrastructure development, mechinery and solar -wind power etc

Now state  has launched a new industrial policy , Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020 to attract more investment.

✅1) Gujarat translates industrial policy into 8 foreign languages to attract FDI.

The state government has translated the Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020 into eight foreign languages, including English, in an attempt to reach out to foreign companies across the globe.

The policy published in August 2020 has been translated to German, Dutch, Spanish, French, Taiwanese, Japanese, Korean and English.....one of the biggest incentives of Gujarat govt to attract foreign investors.

Gujarat industrial policy2020  also translated in to 8 regional languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi.

✅ 2) April- September 2020 of FY 2020-21, Gujarat recorded highest FDI in the country of $16 billion or Rs 1.19 lakh crore. The FDI of the State has jump despite several global impact of Covid19. The state has accounted for 53% of the total FDI investment received that of the entire country.

✅ 3) Gujarat govt announce Special Incentives to companies planning to relocate from other countries.....specially from China.

✅Gujarat’s renewable energy capacity 12,000 MW...now has set a target of producing 30,000 MW of green energy by 2022.

Gujarat government expected $45billion or Rs 3 lakh crore investment in  three years in solar and wind power generation projects.

I think Gujarat per capita income could reach $20000 from $ 3000 in next 10 years.

Budget 2021-Populist, Balanced and Growth Oriented Budget.

Budget 2021-Populist, Balanced and Growth Oriented Budget

Modi Govt has presented the Union Budget 2021-22 in Parliament on dated 1Feb 2021.

The budget proposes to spend $500 billion /35 lakh Crore in 2021-22 & promised to provide further funds if require.

I think budget 2021-22 one of the growth oriented budget.this budget not only populist but also focus on growth.

The union budget 2021-22 focus on Healthcare, Railways infrastructure,  Highways, Textile and MSMEs sector.

Health allocation up

Health care top priority of modi govt. Health allocation jumped 137% to $32billion/RS 2.23 lakh cr in this budget from $13.5billion/ 94k crore  2020-21 & promised to provide further funds if require.

We know Modi govt has taken several initiatives to boost healthcare, one of them is world large health assurance scheme ,Aushman Bharat Yojana.

The main aim to provide free access to healthcare for 50 crore/500 million   of people in the country, cover  of Rs 5lakh  per family per year.

We know 55 million/5.5 cr Indians were pushed into poverty in a single year because of having to fund their own healthcare and 38 million /3.8 cr of them fell below the poverty line due to spending on medicines alone, a study by three experts from the Public Health Foundation of India has estimated.

Railways infrastructure  budget up

Union Budget 2021-22 allocated $15.9billion  /Rs 1.10 lakh crore to Railways, out of which  $15billion /Rs 1.07 lakh crore will be utilised for capital expenditure for 2021-22 to expand rail infrastructure in India. With this, the railways has now highest ever total plan capex of $30.5 billion / Rs 2,15,058  crore in for FY22.

This budget  is going to be spending on major infrastructure projects of the railways including the construction of new lines, doubling, tripling and electrification, overhauling of the existing signalling and telecommunication system, station redevelopment.

The budget can generate millions of new jobs. .....it can attract FDI in Construction Equipment industry.

Highway Project

Highway construction one of the priority areas of modi govt.2021-22 Budget allocated Rs 1.03 lakh crore for 3500 km of national highway for Tamil Nadu ,Rs 65,000 crore for  1100 km of national highways for Kerala. In West Bengal, Rs 25,000 crore allocated  for 675 km highway works, while in Assam 1,300 km of national highway would be built in the coming three years at a cost of rs 34,000 crore.

These allotment could boost Construction equipment industry, steel, cement industry. ....it can attract FDI . ....it can generate millions of new jobs.

Textile Budget up

7mega textile parks to be established in  three years....to become globally competitive , attract large investments, boost employment generation, and exports.

We know modi Govt has set a target $600 billion textile and apparel export  from current  $40 billion by 2025.

MSMEs budget up

Modi Govt alloted $2.2 billion /Rs15,700 crore for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in the Union Budget 2021-22.....which is  more than double the previous year.

We know MSMEs one of the growth engines of indian economy, contribute 40% of the overall exports,110 millions or 11 cr jobs in india.

I think the budget 2021-22 will help to  fulfill the dream of USD  5 trillion economy by 2024.
