The significant service area of Ramakrishna Mission are Rural and tribal development ,education and medical service etc.
Ramakrishna Mission has spent over Rs 131 crore on rural and tribal development in 2019- 20, according to the report placed at the 111th annual general meeting held at Belur Math.The rural and tribal development work carried out at Rs 131cr. has benfitted over 573000 people.
Education
The report 2019-20 stated that a sum of Rs 396.19 crore was spent on educational work. Approx 266000 students studying in the educational institutions of Ramakrishna mission ,from the kindergarten to university-level.
Medical
The report stated that 8811000 people got medical service through 10 hospital, 87 dispensaries, 39 mobile units and 985 medical camps,a sum of 272 cr was spent during the period 2019-20.
