Train 18 has been manufactured at a cost of approximately 🚆$14 million (Rs 100 crore) by the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai... At the same time worldwide at the standard of Train 18 cost around 🚆$42 million (Rs 300 crore.)...That’s a huge cost benefit for any country....It is a matter of huge pride for India that India Railway has made such a train ,cost 65% low compare to Global average.
